On October 23, Yellow Ribbon Companies from throughout Minnesota gathered at our office in Eagan. The event was to facilitate the sharing of best practices in regards to veterans support and employment for returning service members.

In attendance were representatives from Best Buy, US Bank, Target, Dept. of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, Hennepin Technical College, Inver Hills Community College, Rasmussen College, Habitat for Humanity, and the MN National Guard 34^th Infantry Division. We also had several HR and Veterans Network representatives from Thomson Reuters in attendance. (more…)

Although spending on veterans is up during the Obama administration, conditions for many veterans have yet to improve. Today’s graphic shows 5 different charts expressing this notion.
