Thomson Reuters to Sponsor Inaugural New York Ideas Forum on April 17th; David Craig and Crystia Freeland to Speak at Event

Thomson Reuters is pleased to announce that it is a presenting sponsor of the inaugural New York Ideas Forum, which starts this evening and continues through tomorrow, April 17th, 2012 at New-York Historical Society in New York City.
The Atlantic and the Aspen Institute are bringing their successful ideas franchise to New York to continue the “exchange of ideas of consequence,” which established the Aspen Ideas Festival in 2005 and the Washington Ideas Forum in 2009.

The New York Ideas Forum will feature discussions and presentations by leaders addressing the largest economic social and policy issues of the day. David Craig, president of Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk business, will lead a Power Breakfast session at 8:00am on April 17th on the topic of “Protecting Financial Markets in the Age of the Cloud.” Chrystia Freeland, editor, Thomson Reuters Digital, will participate as a speaker on a panel titled “America’s Role in the World.”
