Reuters will now offer high definition video footage, globally, as part of a new service, developed in collaboration with clients. To launch this initiative, Reuters will provide live HD coverage worldwide of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in London, beginning on June 3rd with the Thames Jubilee Pageant. On June 5th Reuters will also offer live HD coverage of the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Formal Carriage Procession by the Queen.

On July 3rd, Reuters will expand its service to offer edited HD video content to all of its clients, as part of an exclusive engagement program. (more…)
