IP & Science Hosts First PharmaVision Event in China

To help expand the Life Science business in China, the Intellectual Property & Science China team delivered its first PharmaVision event on April 14th, 2012.

The theme was “Intelligent Information Accelerates Drug Research and Development” and explored the important role of intelligent information in the Life Sciences research and development process. More than 130 life sciences professionals, including many chief executive officers, attended the event where Life Sciences was able to showcase how its products and services can accelerate pharmaceutical innovation in China.

The event also acted as an opportunity for our Life Sciences professionals to learn more about hot topics in the industry. Sessions included: Revival of Drugs, Opportunities and Challenges for Chinese Innovative Drugs, Opportunities in Systems Biology to Discover Mechanisms and Repurpose Drugs for CNS Diseases, etc. Some attendees even used Thomson Reuters data as part of their presentations and discussions.
