Create your own campaign on youTrust, our Foundation’s new social media platform
What is youTrust?
YouTrust is a new kind of social media platform from the Thomson Reuters Foundation for people who want to make a difference. It gives you the means to create your own campaign and engage others on the issues you care about.
Whatever subject you are passionate about – water issues, women’s rights, fair trade or conflict in Congo – it allows you to easily share multimedia information with your community of interest.
Who is it for?
It’s for anybody interested in social, humanitarian and journalistic issues.
How does it work ?
Share or “tip” photos, videos or articles you like from YouTube, FlickR, Vimeo,AlertNet, Alertnet Climate, TrustLaw Women, TrustLaw Good Governance,TrustLaw Pro Bono and TrustMedia simply by pasting a simple URL address.
Choose your theme of interest and get instant access to the latest relevant videos, photos, articles, blogs, tweets, newsfeeds and live discussions through youTrust’s “livestreams”.
Create and share stunning multimedia pages – or “packages” – of related material: videos, photos, web links, blogs, articles, Twitter and RSS feeds – all in just a few clicks! Theses self-branded “packages” can then be shared through Facebook, Twitter, email and more…. And they will be visible to the whole youTrust community.
